  1. How do I start Testing with Sitarc?

You can contact Scientific And industrial Testing and Research Centre (Si’Tarc) via email: [email protected] or [email protected] and contact over Telephone: 04222560473, 04224273612, Mobile: 09487580473 or 09487590473. Please provide your address, contact information and testing requirements. A price quotation and a contract review form will be sent for your approval. Sample submittal form is also located in our website www.sitarc.com. You can send it electronically or along with the sample. Ship the samples to Sitarc with a duly completed and signed contract review Form.

  1. How do I get a price quotation or charges for testing?

Please indicate the type of products that needs testing and the testing / analysis which are required. A quotation with the charges and applicable taxes for different testing / analysis will be sent for you via email.

  1. How do I pay for the testing?

You can pay via Demand Draft, anywhere banking Cheque or via Money Order. You can also pay thru RTGS or NEFT in our Company’s Bank Account. You will be provided with the Account No. and IFSC code upon request for directly remitting the payment into our account. In which case you have to produce the Bank Challan as a proof for making the payment.

  1. How can a company establish credit with Sitarc ?

As a matter of Policy Sitarc do not extend any type credit for any clients towards testing. In any case you have to make the payment in full either or 50% along with the Sample and balance before the release of results as per agreed turnaround time.

  1. How do I Submit Samples to Scientific And industrial Testing and Research Centre (Si’Tarc)?

Samples should be shipped to Scientific And industrial Testing and Research Centre (Si’Tarc) to the attention of customer care department. All the samples must have a signed sample contract review / service request form indicating the test required either in person or through courier to:

  1. How can the samples be returned to the client?

Please indicate on the contract review / service request form, that the unused samples are to be returned to the client. Indicate how the samples should be returned and list the account no. of courier / transport you wish us to use. (Professional or First Flight courier etc.). We will add the courier charges for the returned samples along with our billing / invoice.

  1. Scientific And industrial Testing and Research Centre (Si’Tarc) is registered with Govt or Any private body?

Yes. Scientific And industrial Testing and Research Centre (Si’Tarc) is Registered as not for profit society. Si’Tarc is approved by Bureau of Indian Standards for testing of electric motors, pumpsets, water meter, cables, wires etc. Si’Tarc is also NABL accredited laboratory for IS / IEC / ISO 17025 quality Management systems.

Si’Tarc testing and calibration laboratory is accredited by NABL (National Accreditation Board for testing and calibration Laboratories, Department of Science and Technology, India in accordance with standard ISO / IEC 17025:2005 for its facilities in the field of testing and Calibration.

Si’Tarc testing laboratory is accredited by NABL in Electrical testing, Mechanical testing, chemical testing and Biological testing

Si’Tarc calibration laboratory is accredited by NABL in Electrotechnical Calibration, Mechanical Calibration and Thermal Calibration

Si’Tarc testing laboratory is BIS approved outside testing laboratory to test motors, pumps and electrical materials, packaged drinking water

Si’Tarc lab is approved by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) to test Solar Photovoltaic pumpset testing.

  1. What type of a report is issued after the testing is completed?

The final signed report as “Test Report of …. ,test report will detail the client information, sample description and identification, tests performed and results of such test. It will also indicate the Sample ID No. If you have any marking reference to be included, you have to intimate well in advance while submitting the samples.

  1. How are reports issued?

Hard copies of the reports are always issued in person or sent via courier and if you require a soft copy via e-mail please indicate on the contract review / service request form itself.

  1. Whom do I speak to discuss the results on the report?

Please call Si’Tarc at 04222560473, 04224273612, or Mobile: 09487580473 or 09487590473 and ask for the Manager-customer care. Each report has a unique Identification No. on the top left corner of the report. We can retrieve this report from our records and discuss any issues you may have.
